(The author of this article is the Editor in Chief of Al-Balaagh, a bi-monthly published from Lenasia, South Africa. He is a widely known Muslim writer, author of several books, and a journalist. In August 2001 he received an Award of Honor for his 50 years of extraordinary service in the cause of Islam. He has written more than 30,000 letters in 50 years at the rate of 3 to 5 letters a night - to various people around the world, answering their queries, or thanking them for something).

THE DEATH OF JESUS

“Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) is no more than a Messenger and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allâh; and Allâh will give reward to those who are grateful.” Surah: Al-Imran : Ayah: 144 / (3:144).

This Quranic verse TOTALLY demolishes the contention and belief of those who maintain that Jesus is alive in the heavens and is coming back towards the end of the world. Those who insist in their belief are actually DENYING the truth as Allah (SWT) has stated in the Quran. And if you DENY what Allah says, then you have committed KUFR, and have, ipso facto, GONE OUT OF THE PALE OF ISLAM! According to the above verse, Jesus is most certainly DEAD, and even more certainly NOT coming back!

JESUS HAD WIFE AND CHILDREN

“And certainly We sent BEFORE thee (0 Muhammad), Messengers, and appointed for   them WIVES AND CHILDREN,”   (13:38)

Allah (S WT) tells Rasoolullah (S) that He had sent prophets to mankind BEFORE him (Rasoolullah), and that EVERY prophet had a wife and children. This includes Jesus, too, as he was a Messenger Before  Muhammad (S). If Jesus was not married, and had no children, and thus was the exception, then Allah would have clearly and unambiguously said so in the Noble  Qur'an that ILLA EESA - EXCEPT Eesa.

But the Almighty made no such exception in the case of Jesus. Those who believe that Jesus will come back to earth in the latter days and get married and have children, are stating NON-EXISTENT things that are NOT in the Qur'an. And in so doing, they are committing a great SIN! This SIN is called “TAHREEF’, that is, ADDING to, or INTERPOLATING ... exactly as the Christians had done with their Bible - so much so that God’s Word in the Bible became hardly distinguishable from Man’s word!

JESUS HAD A FATHER

“And Zakariyya and John, and JESUS and Elias - all in the ranks of the righteous. And Ismail and Elisha, and Jonas and Lot: and to all We gave favour above the nations. To them AND THEIR   FATHERS and their PROGENY (children) and brethren: We chose them, and We guided them to a Straight Way.” (6:85-87

If Jesus did not have a father and was born miraculously without the agency of a father - as the mullahs and others who do NOT WANT to understand the truth in the Qur’an believe - then Allah (SWT) would  NOT have included Jesus’s name among all the prophets as having FATHERS and CHILDREN. Remember that ZURRIYAAT (children, progeny) is also mentioned by Allah in Chapter 13, Verse 38 quoted above, thus CONFIRMING the fact that Jesus no doubt had a father, and also married, like all other human beings, and had children. But this most human fact about Jesus, as stated by Allah in the Quran and accepted by all those who love and revere the Quran which is Allah’s unsullied, untampered, uninterpolated Word, is DISPUTED AND DEBATED FOR CENTURIES BY THE MULLAHS, THE HADITH-WRITERS and FUQAHA, and no doubt, will be hotly debated until kingdom come! This is because the so-called theologians, and the euphemistically called “ulama” have actually “seen” that Bibi Maryam conceived Jesus without the agency of a father, and they have also actually SEEN Eesa (AS) sitting in the heavens on the right-hand side of God Almighty- that is why they are so doggedly insistent on this issue.

The above aayat emphasizes and CONFIRMS without the slightest doubt that Hazrat Eesa (AS) most certainly had a father, and that he himself had his own children - like any other human being.  Allah had no reason whatsoever to make an exception of Jesus when He says clearly in the Quran that He does  NOT  change His Laws of physics, chemistry and biology!

NO MORTAL (INSAAN) HAS BEEN GIVEN EVERLASTING LIFE ON EARTH

“And we did NOT  grant everlasting life to any mortal (human being) BEFORE you(O Muhammad) - If you die, will they live forever?” (21:34)

Wherever the word “QABLIKA” is used by Allah (SWT), it is used when addressing the Nabi (S).... that BEFORE you (0 Prophet). Thus QABLIKA means BEFORE  the coming of Rasoolullah as a Prophet. ALL the prophets BEFORE our Nabi (S), all the peoples and nations BEEORE the advent of Prophet Muhammad (S) had  DIED. Jesus was a Nabi BEFORE Rasoolullah (S). Therefore, in the Words of Allah (SWT), he also died. Only the mullahs have kept Jesus alive - for reasons best known to them only! This aayat must be read in conjunction with (3:143) which says: “And Muhammad (S) is but a Messenger. Indeed ALL the prophets BEFORE him have died.”

Can Allah (S WT) make matters any more clear? However, the Hadith writers, Fuqaha and mullahs, are never happy until they complicate and confuse matters to such an extent that they make even Allah “say things” with their “Taaweel” (interpretation) that Allah never intended -and never said!

AND NOW THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF THOSE WHO INSIST THAT JESUS HAD NO FATHER

“How  could  He (God) have a son when He has NO consort (wife)” (6:102)

Allah (SWT) has established a FIXED BIOLOGICAL  LAW   that NO child - human or animal - can be born without the union of a father AND a mother. And Allah (SWT) does NOT (repeat NOT) change His laws capriciously -as the Qur’an emphasizes in many places.

Now: Allah is ALL-POWERFUL. He is QAADIR-E-MUTLAQ, i.e. He is a TOTAL, ABSOLUTE, UNDISPUTED, POTENT MASTER Who can do  anything  that He wishes. He can create a child out of the air, just like that, if He so desires. But He does NOT  break the laws that He has established.

Thus the Quran makes it undoubtedly clear that even an ALL-POWERFUL Creator of the entire Universe cannot produce a child unless He had a wife. So! When the DIVINE BEING Himself cannot procreate a child  WITHOUT A WOMAN  then how can a woman (Bibi Maryam) produce a child (Jesus) WITHOUT A MAN? We suppose that only a mullah can answer the question and refute what Allah says that NO human being can have a child without the association of a male AND female!

Furthermore: It is absolutely IMPERATIVE and NECESSARY that a miracle MUST BE,  HAS TO BE, WITNESSED WITH THE EYES in order to be believable!  If  a so-called miracle is related to us by people who have NOT seen it, then this would be called hearsay. RATIONAL beings just do not place credence on what they hear. They verify it with their eyes. Therefore the old proverb, “Seeing is believing, hearing is deceiving”, holds good for all time! Thus: WHO, in Heaven’s name, “saw” that Bibi Maryam conceived a child ... WITHOUT A FATHER? The mullahs?
