Barzakh- Part Two

STUDY OF "RABBIL 'ALAMEEN"

and OUR SOULS' "BARZAKH"

BARZAKH - the partitioned, transitory abodes of the departed Souls...

The Arabic word Barzakh has "no verbal root", writes John Penrice in his 'Dictionary And Glossary Of The Koran'. Dr. Abdullah Nadwi in his 'Vocabulary Of The Holy Qur'an' writes;

"Litt : a thing that (n.) intervenes between any two things". For the present study; a partitioned transitory abodes of the departed Souls, from the Deaths to the Next Lives.

Till when there comes to one of them the death he says: "My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." Never, it is but a word he says. And beyond them is a Barzakh  until the day they are raised up." Qur'an 23: 99-100.

And He it is Who hath let loose the two seas -- one palatable and sweet and the other saltish and bitter -- and He hath set between the two a Barzakh and a preclusion precluded.  Qur'an 25: 53.

He hath let loose the two seas meeting each other. Between the two is set a Barzakh and they transgress not. Qur'an 55: 19-20.

Our present study is a continuation from Part One wherein we had observed the followings:

(a) The generations of "man" that the Rabbil 'Alameen had created earlier, before the creation of adam, were destroyed by Him for the evils they had committed. (b) Thereafter, Rabbil 'Alameen created with His Mercy "our" generation. He gave us a better body frame than the earlier man. He also appointed us as His Viceroys upon the earth to see how "we" behave. (c) A forewarning has been given to "us" by Allah that if He wills, He shall destroy us completely and substitute "us" with another generations, depending upon our behaviors. This warning makes Part Two of the study more important. Freedom of our own Souls and the Safeguarding of the "Children of Adam" demands a study of the subject with an open mind.

Let us contemplate further upon the Opening Verses 23: 99-100 quoted hereto above.

The above request "send me back" is being made to Rabbil 'Alameen by a departed Soul of a progeny of Adam, who had been negligent and unrighteous, like its predecessors before. Such a request from the Barzakh will be considered as a hollow excuse and will be denied. The passage from the Qur'an quoted below tell us the reason for the refusal. The Qur'an reveals that Message of Allah is further explained by ONE who is Wise and Well-Acquainted. It is required that we seek the interpretation from within the Qur'an. The text of the Opening Passage is further illustrated in the following passage. We have to study them together:

Those who disbelieve will be addressed: "Indeed the aversion of Allah was more greater than your aversion one of another. When you were invited to the faith, you refused."  They will say: "Our Rabb (Lord)! You put us to death twice and gave us life twice. Now we confess our sins. Is there any way out (of this)? Qur'an 40: 10-11.

AUTHOR'S COMMENTS:

1. The Sins that are committed by "human beings", living on this earth, are upon their Souls. That eternal Law of Allah is being confirmed in explicit terms; "Whoever works righteousness, benefits his own Soul; Whoever works evil, it is against his own Soul;" Qur'an 41: 46.

2. The above quoted Proclamation by Allah is addressed to the departed Souls that had once more disbelieved the Message of Allah and had knowingly disobeyed. The text indicates that when the person's attention was drawn to the Message concerning the aversion for one another (similar to the one we are witnessing today at an escalating rate), that important Message was rejected. REMEMBER, THE AVERSION OF ALLAH IS FAR GREATER...

STOP INDISCRIMINATE KILLINGS AND INSTEAD PARTICIPATE IN SAVING OF ALLAH'S CREATION...

Only the ONE who Gives Life to the Dead has the Right to Take the Life and then Resurrect...

Ask Yourself: AM I THAT ENTITY?

3. The statement: "You put us to death twice and gave us life twice" clearly indicates that there is an apparent and direct relationship of Souls between TWO LIVES and TWO DEATHS. In other words; that Soul making the pleading had sinned during the FIRST LIFE and had again sinned during the SECOND LIFE. The confession was being made for the SINS OF BOTH LIVES.

Such are they against whom is proved the Sentence among the previous generations of jinns and men that have passed away; for they will be (utterly) lost. And to all are (assigned) degrees according to the deeds which they (have done) and in order that (Allah) may recompense their deeds and no injustice be done to them.  Qur'an 46: 18-19.

4. The admitted REALITY by the confessing souls from the Second Life, unequivocally confirms THAT EVERY CHILD BORN FROM THE ADAM'S GENERATION HAD ALSO LIVED DURING THE GENERATIONS OF THE EARLIER STUNTED MAN. If so, upon its entry into the SECOND LIFE, it had brought with him the previous life's RECORDS OF THE REWARDS AND THE PUNISHMENTS.

No misfortune [calamity] can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree, before We bring it into existence. That is truly easy for Allah: In order that you may not despair [grieve] over matters that pass you by, Nor you exult [rejoice] over favours [that are] Bestowed upon you. For Allah loves not any vainglorious [self-conceited] boaster [arrogant]. Qur'an 57: 22-23.

5. The above REVEALED TRUTH answers the TODAY'S TWO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. Why Allah does not avert the calamities (man made and/or natural) that kills the innocent young infants or their parents, besides others?

2. Why some are born with the "best of everything" and enjoy their lives and others are born with the "worst of everything" and die suffering?

They are the ones on whom becomes due the Sentence among the previous generations of jinns and men that have passed away. Indeed they will be (utterly) lost. And for everyone will be grades, according to their deeds and that He might repay fully for their deeds; and no injustice will be done to them.

Qur'an 46: 18-19.

ONE MORE EVIDENCE FOR THE EARLIER LIFE...

And [recall] when [or Whenever as per Asad's translation], your Rabb (Lord) took from the Children of Adam [collectively or individually], from their loins, their progeny, and made them bear witness over themselves -- "Am I not your Rabb (Lord)?" They said: "Yes, we testify" -- lest you should say on the Day of Judgment: "We indeed were about it unaware." Qur'an 7 : 172.

Recall Allah's Grace upon you and His Covenant which He ratified with you when you said: "We have heard and we pay heed", so fear Allah. Surely, Allah knows well the secrets of your hearts. Qur'an 5: 7.

This Question and its Response did take place BEFORE THE BIRTH of the descendents of Adam. Souls could only witness and testify what they did then, unless they had themselves heard the Clear Signs sent by Rabbil 'Alameen to the earlier Creation of Man.

Allah reminds us of the Solemn Pledge with which we ALL did bind ourselves, before births.

Responsibility is same, if the Pledge was collectively in Barzakh or individually in pregnancy.

Generations before you We destroyed when they did wrong: their Apostles
came to them with Clear Signs, but they would not believe! Thus do We requite those who sin!
Qur'an 10: 13.

HOMO FLORESIENSIS (the stunted men) and

HOMO SAPIENS (the progeny of Adam)...

Since Allah has chosen to place a Partition between the above TWO CREATIONS of "men", we have been given a diminutive detail concerning the CREATIONS of jinns and men that lived before the Creation of Adam. However, the revelations sent to us do inform us that the Children of Adam were created with a stronger frame than before (see part one for details). The comparison of the skulls by the scientists also confirms that "we" have a bigger skull and a larger brain space. Allah has with His Mercy Blessed "us" with one extra-ordinary faculty:

Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, Who teacheth by the pen, Teacheth man that which be knew not. Nay, but verily man is rebellious. That he thinketh himself independent! Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. Qur'an 93: 3-8.

The material progress of mankind as well as the religious wisdom acquired by us is ALL due to this ADDED FACULTY of writing and reading. SHOULD THAT PROGRESS MAKE US REBELLIOUS!

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD TODAY IS NOT CHECKED, WE MAY BE THE LOST CREATION.

Our Souls Final Abode And The Day of Reckoning...

Till when there comes to one of them the death he says: "My Rabb (Lord), send me back. That I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." Never, it is but a word he says. And beyond them is a Barzakh  until the day they are raised up." Qur'an 23: 99-100.

Allah's refusal to send back the SOULS to earth ONE MORE TIME tells us that the RESURRECTION FROM THE FINAL BARZAKH WILL NOT BE UPON THIS EARTH, INSTEAD ALL SOULS WILL BE TAKEN to the PLACE OF RECKONING where the Souls shall be sorted in three classes.

How disbelieve you in Allah when you were lifeless, He gave life to you! Then He will give you death, then He will give you life, and then unto Him you shall all be taken back? Qur'an 2: 28.

And you [your Souls] shall be sorted out into three classes. Qur'an 56: 7.
