Words of Wisdom:

The best charity is that given to a resentful relative. (Bukhari)

The best of you are those who live the longest and are the best in character. (Ahmed)

Faith has over 70 branches, the best of which is the declaration that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, and the simplest of which is removing a stone from the road. And modesty is a branch of faith. (Bukhari)

The best of you are those who are best to his wives. (Tirmidi)

It is not permissible for a Muslim to aviod his (Muslim) brother for more than 3 days, so that when they meet, each turns away from the other. The better one of them is the person who greets the other first. (Tirmidi)

The best of people is a believer in the service of two noble parents. (Ahmad)

The best properties are: a tongue which remembers Allah, a thankful heart, and a believing wife who helps (to strengthen) one's faith. (Tirmidi)

The best of you is one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it (to others). (Bukhari)

Shouldn't I inform you of something more excellent in degree than fasting, prayer, and charity? The companions of the Prophet SAW answered, "Certainly!" He said, "To reconcile people. Indeed, spoiling relations between people is (the basis for) destruction. (Abu Dawood)

The best (part) of your religion is piety. (Al-Haakim)

Words of Wisdom:

Do what you can handle, for Allah will not tire of rewarding you until you tire (of doing good). And the most beloved part of the religion in Allah's site is what is done regularly. (Bukhari)

The best words of dhikr (remembrance) are: La ilaha illallah (There is no deity except Allah). (Tirmidi)

The further one's journey is to the mosque, the greater will be one's reward. (Abu Dawood)

The most beloved speech to me is that which is most truthful. (Bukhari)

The best (aspect) of iman (faith) is patience and tolerance. (Bukhari)

Our Lord, glorified and exalted be He, descends each night to the earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night and He says, "Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it to him? Who is asking for forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?" And thus He continues till (the light of) dawn shines. (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

I am as My servant thinks of Me. I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in his heart, I remember him in My heart. If he makes mention of Me in a gathering, I make mention of him in a better gathering (of the angels). And if he draws clost to Me an arm's length, I draw close to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to me walking, I go to him running (at great speed). (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

When Allah decreed the Creation He pledged Himself by writing in His book which is laid down with Him: My mercy prevails over my wrath. (Hadithi Qudsi/Muslim)

Sons of Adam inveigh against [the vicissitudes of] Time, and I am Time, in My hand is the night and the day. (As the Almighty is the Ordainer of all things, to inveigh aginst misfortunes that are part of Time is tantamount to inveighing against Him.) (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

I am so self-sufficient that I am in no need of having an associate. Thus he who does an action for someone else's sake as well as Mine will have that action renounced by Me to him whom he associated with Me. (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

Words of Wisdom:

Your Lord delights at a shepherd who, on the peak of a mountain crag, gives the call to prayer and prays. Then Allah (glorified and exalted be He) say: Look at this servant of Mine, he gives the call to prayer and performs the prayers; he is in awe of Me. I have forgiven My servant [his sins] and have admitted him to Paradise. (Hadithi Qudsi/an-Nasa'i)

Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you. (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. (Hadithi Qudsi/Muslim)

Pride is my cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire. (Hadithi Qudsi/Abu Dawood)

The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother. [About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled. (Hadithi Qudsi/Abu Dawood)

Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection:

Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade. (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

My faithful servant's reward from Me, if I have taken to Me (by death) his best friend from amongst the inhabitants of the world and he has then bore it patiently for My sake, shall be nothing less than Paradise. (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it. (Hadithi Qudsi/Tirmidi)

I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heart. (Thus recite if you wish): And no soul knows what joy for them (the inhabitants of Paradise) has been kept hidden (Quran Chapter 32 Verse 17). (Hadithi Qudsi/Bukhari)

Words of Wisdom:

You (Muslims) are the best nation produced (as an example) for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and you believe in Allah...(Qur'an 3:110)

Therefore remember Me, I will remember you. Give thanks to Me, and reject not Me. (Qur'an 2:152)

He gives wisdom unto whom He will, and he unto whom wisdom is given, he truly has received abundant good. But none remember except men of understanding.(Qur'an 2:269)

And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins--Who forgiveth sins save Allah only?--and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. (Qur'an 3:135)

Remember Allah's grace upon you and His covenant by which He bound you when you said: We hear and we obey; and keep your duty to Allah. Allah knows what is in the breasts (of men). (Qur'an 5:7)

Glorify your Lord at break of day and fall of night. (Qur'an 19:11)

Lo! We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a witness and a bearer of good tidings and a warner; That you (mankind) may believe in Allah and His messenger, and may honor Him, and may revere Him, and may glorify Him at early dawn and at the close of day. (Qur'an 48:8-9)

Say: Obey Allah and the messenger. But if they turn away, Lo! Allah loves not the disbelievers (in His guidance). (Qur'an 3:32)

Whoso obeys Allah and the messenger, they are with those unto whom Allah has shown favor, of the Prophets and the saints and the martyrs and the righteous. The best of company are they! (Qur'an 4:69)

And the believers, men and women, are protecting friends of one another; they enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His messenger. As for these, Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise. (Qur'an 9:71)

Words of Wisdom:

O you who believe! Obey Allah and His messenger, and turn not away from him when you hear (him speak). (Qur'an 8:20)

Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for the humble-minded (Qur'an 2:45)

Be guardians of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion to Allah. (Qur'an 2:238)

Your friend can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poor due, and bow down (in prayer). (Qur'an 5:55)

My Lord! Make me to establish proper worship, and some of my posterity (also); our Lord! and accept the prayer. (Qur'an 14:40)

"Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire." (Qur'an 2:201)

Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Your Presence. Lo! You, only You are the Bestower. (Qur'an 3:8)

Our Lord! Lo! We believe. So forgive us our sins and guard us from the punishment of Fire! (Qur'an 3:16)

Lo! religion with Allah (is) al-Islam (The Surrender to His will and guidance). Those who (formerly) received the Scripture differed only after knowledge came unto them, through transgression among themselves. Whoso disbelieves the revelations of Allah (will find that) Lo! Allah is swift at reckoning. (Qur'an 3:19)
